2023 Back to School: Supporting Orphan Children/ Less-Privileged with School Materials
Hope For African-Sierra Leone (H4A-SL) in collaboration with partners government of Sierra Leone (Ministry of social welfare Gender and children’s Affairs) National Commission for Children, Jagaban Humanitarian Charity Foundation, supported 50 orphan children/Less-Privileged children within five community Coal farm,Congo cross Banana water, Lumley, Murrey town, and waterloo
Program Description:
The program was designed to provide orphan children and less-privileged students with essential school materials such as textbooks, stationery,bags, and other educational resources. Through collaborations with partners, we aimed to bridge the resource gap and support these vulnerable children in their educational journey.
Objectives:
1. Ensure access to quality education for orphan children and less-privileged students.
2. Improve school attendance and academic performance among beneficiaries.
3. Alleviate financial burden on families by providing necessary school materials.
4. Foster a sense of inclusion and support within the community.
